Summer is here, and school is out for the summer, already or very soon. This is moving season, and the number of families relocating increases drastically. Now is the time you should call ahead to reserve your moving crews. If you want to use a reputable mover, remember that they are very busy this time of year.
The official start of summer at Mark the Mover is Tax day. Tax day in 2011 will be on April 18. We generally see a pickup in relocation bookings around mid April for Atlanta and surrounding suburbs. While moving customers may be able to get a mover on a shorter notice in the winter month, make sure to call your moving company at least two weeks ahead for Friday and weekend moves, and several days ahead even if moving mid week. Mid month moves are a little less in demand, and when a weekend falls at the end of the month, all Atlanta moving companies will be very busy.
